Radford Coffee Company

Mon-Fri 7am -2pm | Sat 8am-2pm

We are a group of people who are interested in reaching out to our local community and our world. We all volunteer, meaning we do not receive salaries from the coffee shop. This enables the money we raise to go directly to the people we are trying to help . Many of us have traveled or lived in other places of the world and have a love of other cultures and customs. While we celebrate their lives, we also know that helping with clean water, education, and a safe place to live can greatly impact both young and old. We want to enable more people to have the opportunity to join in helping some the poorest people in the Western Hemisphere.

Eric and Barbara Johnson- Full Time Michigan/D.C Barbara and Eric Johnson have done disaster relief work around the world for many years. In those years many trips have been made to the Rio Coco in Nicaragua.  Friendships have been forged and a desire to help in a bigger way was born. The Johnsons joined forces with the Bagbys who founded Seek the Lamb and the education project on the Rio Coco. Barbara and Eric volunteered to help run another coffee shop in Utila, Honduras. After three years in Honduras, they realized the time had come to expand. So here they are, back in Radford, Virginia with another shop! Fun Fact: ask them about their experiences with bugs while living in the Amazon; they've got some crazy stories!
