Guatemala Huehuetenango
Huehuetenango is a region in Western Guatemala bordering Mexico. It is extremely diverse and known for producing some of the best coffees in Latin America due to its climate, altitude, water sources, and traditional varieties.
This is a women-produced coffee obtained in collaboration with CODECH (The Coordinator of Organizations for the Development of Concepcion Huista), an organization which supports community and agricultural development in Huehuetenango, as well as the encouragement of women in the workforce.
This coffee is certified organic and fair-trade, from 100% women-owned or operated farms. At a light-medium roast, this coffee is sweet with a mild acidity and distinct flavor notes of caramel and amaretto.
