Honduras La Finca Terrerito
This is one of our Trail Blazer Series of coffees, an intentional effort on the part of RCC to focus on direct trade relationships that benefit small coffee farms.
Adelmo Lopez is a 4th generation coffee farmer, service disabled USA veteran, and proud owner of La Finca Terrerito. He was born and raised on coffee farms in the remote mountains of Honduras. In 2008, he purchased an 80 acre plot from his mother and began to plant coffee.
Today, Finca T has over 150 acres in coffee production. With its state of the art washing mill, 400 ft. well, 25 million gallon rain water reservoir, livestock stables, tilapia pond, and sleeping quarters for 250+ workers, the top quality coffee makes a difference.
Finca T is certified USDA organic, con manos de mujeres, bird friendly, and fair trade TSA. Finca T aims to serve its community and foster sustainability within the industry. They partner with the Honduras Coffee Institute where interns and engineers visit their farm to learn from their in house team of experts
